Linda Petchenik is a seasoned business consultant with a 25 year track record working with top management teams to improve organizational effectiveness and profit.

Linda is the founder of GrowthLines, Inc (Formerly Leadership Architects). Her firm is dedicated to growing and leveraging leadership talent. They offer services in Executive Coaching, Communications, Leadership Assessment, Selection and Development, Succession Planning, Change Management, Board Evaluation, and Strategic Planning. Linda has helped a variety of organizations to assess and improve the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, change strategies, and executive talent. As a veteran executive coach, Linda partnered with Personnel Decisions International on a 20 year longitudinal study of Executive Coaching Methodologies.

Her firm has provided counsel to large and small companies across a variety of industries and geographies. Her client list includes: ACCO, Amoco, Baxter Healthcare, BP, Cigna, CNA, Crosstex Energy, Fortune Brands, HSBC/Household International, Howard R. Green Company, Ingersoll-Rand, Master Lock, Merisant (EQUAL), The Spiegel Group, Smurfit Stone, Seyfarth Shaw, TDW, Tyson Foods, the Williams Companies and Zebra Technologies.

Prior to starting her own firm, Linda served as a Consulting Director for one of the world’s largest organization capability consulting groups. As Director of Organizational Capability at Amoco Corporation, Linda led consulting teams working on 8.5 million dollars in projects ranging from Culture Change and Global Management to Brand Strategy and Shared Services. After BP’s bid for Amoco was accepted, Linda led the Merger Integration Team on Leadership Development and Succession Planning for the combined firm.

Linda has had a long history of participation on Executive Boards and Committees. She is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Organization Development Network. She has provided service to both public and private boards. Linda spent several years on the Advisory Board for Indiana University’s Executive Partnership and helped them build a world-class executive development program. As a board member for the Institute for Management Studies, Linda helped shape the agenda for Corporate Universities and Management Institutes. She has partnered with the Conference Board, The Corporate Leadership Council, the HR Planning Society, the Academy of Management, and the American Society of Training and Development on many best practices and benchmarking studies.

Linda has been an active mentor, speaker and educator. She has served as an adjunct faculty member for Loyola University of Chicago’s Masters of Labor Relations Program (Graduate Statistics); Keller School of Management‘s Master of Project Management Program (Business Communications), and the University of Wisconsin’s School of Business (Small Business Management and Organizational Behavior).

Linda holds a Masters of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations (emphasis on Organization Development) from the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business from the University of Illinois. Additionally, she completed the University of Illinois Executive Program in Finance.
